Jenna Ortega Says AI is 'Disgusting,' That She Was Sent Fake Dirty Images of Herself as a Teen

Jenna Ortega shared some horrible memories about her earliest experiences with AI during a recent interview.

The 21-year-old Wednesday actress appeared on The Interview podcast and reflected on her childhood stardom. If you were unaware, she’s been acting from a young age and landed the starring role on the Disney Channel’s Stuck in the Middle in 2016.

When the topic turned to AI, Jenna said that society has “opened Pandora’s box” and recalled being sent horrible, AI-edited images of herself as a teenager.

“I hate AI,” Jenna said, via People. “Did I like being 14 [years old] and making a Twitter account because I was supposed to, and seeing dirty edited content of me as a child? No. It’s terrifying. It’s corrupt.”

Jenna continued, saying, “It’s wrong. It’s disgusting.”

“Here’s the problem, though. We’ve opened Pandora’s box. Well, it is what it is. It’s out there now. We’re gonna have to deal with the consequences,” she added.
