Ariana Grande Recalls Crazy Lengths Paparazzi Went to Photograph 'Wicked' Set

Ariana Grande is opening up about the paparazzi’s presence on set of Wicked.

In a new interview with co-star Jonathan Bailey, the 31-year-old singer and actress recalled some of the ways paparazzi attempted to snap photos and videos of the set of the Jon M. Chu-directed movie.

Keep reading to find out more…“I think we were very spoiled to have done this with him [Chu]. It felt like a teeny, little secret student thing — it’s intimacy,” Ariana said in an interview with VMan magazine.

“It felt so small and private until all of a sudden, we were outside, and the Daily Mail was hand gliding over our set — oh, he should play the pterodactyl in your film [Jurassic World 4],” Ariana jokingly said to Jonathan, 36, who will be starring in the next installment of the dinosaur movie franchise.

“It was a man on a massive kite, floating around with his legs hanging down,” Jonathan recalled. “With a GoPro. With a GoPro on his toes.”

Ariana then said that she “couldn’t believe my eyes” when she saw the spectacle, adding, “Well, firstly because I don’t have the best eyes. But secondly, because there’s no way. There’s no way! I was like, ah, guy on a hand glider.”
