Man fatally stabbed on No. 2 train in the Bronx: police
BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man was fatally stabbed on a No. 2 train in the Bronx on Saturday afternoon, police said.
The incident occurred at 3:21 p.m. near the East 149th Street and Third Avenue subway station. Two men got into a fight on a northbound train, police said.
One of the men, a 36-year-old male, stabbed the other male, a 30-year-old, in the chest with an unknown object. EMS took the victim to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries, where he was pronounced deceased.
The assailant was taken into police custody. No charges have been made, authorities said.
