FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Good Saturday Night,

It has been a much warmer day today, with highs into the lower 90s this afternoon. Expect a few clouds early tonight, otherwise, a more seasonal night, with lows in the middle 60s. Sunday should be another hot day with mostly sunny skies, some clouds during the afternoon and highs in the lower 90s.

Monday will be even hotter, with mostly sunny skies, and highs into the middle 90s, with heat index values in the upper 90s to near 100. Tuesday should at least tie for the hottest day of the year, as highs will be in the mid to upper 90s, with triple digit heat index values expected. Wednesday, a weak boundary will push into the area, and give us our best chance of a few afternoon to evening pop-ups.

Likely this will be our best chance of rain in more than a week and a half, and its not an amazing chance at all, highs will remain in the middle 90s. Thursday we will see more sunshine returning, and temps remaining hot with afternoon highs in the lower 90s. Early Friday, a warm front will work through, and push temps back into the middle 90s, with a cold front following behind to start the weekend.

Between these two fronts, there will be a chance for some late day pop-ups on Friday. Saturday, we will have a better chance of showers, and some storms, with this cold front, highs will still top in the mid to upper 80s ahead of the boundary.
