Unified Pension Scheme: The government announced the Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) for government employees on August 24, 2024. The new pension scheme has features of a mix of the old pension scheme (OPS) and the national pension system (NPS). However, the UPS seems to be a better deal for government employees compared OPS.
