First look at Love Is Blind UK reunion – as one married couple appear to ‘ditch’ their rings
LOVE Is Blind UK’s first look reunion photos have dropped amid fears a fan favourite couple have called it quits.
The first British iteration of the Netflix favourite ended this week with three of the six engaged couples saying ‘I Do’ at the altar, with three others walking away.
However, nearly a year since the episodes were filmed, things may have changed – with fans becoming convinced Sabrina and Steven may have ended things.
The trailer for the reunion, hosted by presenters Matt and Emma Willis, dropped with the married couple seemingly sitting separately from each other, and without their wedding rings.
The new photos – which show the cast ahead of the reunion filming, also shows them without their rings, and standing away from each other in the group photo.
Sabrina, who looks stunning in a black feathered ballgown, is seen at the end of the group, while Steven looks dapper in a blue suit in the middle of the photo.
Their solo photos also have them both hiding their ring fingers, with Steven holding his hands and Sabrina holding out her dress.
The two other married couples – Benaiah and Nicole, and Bobby and Jasmine – are both standing next to each other.
Sabrina and Steven were long-standing fan favourites on the show, and the only couple who seemed to have little issue in their match.
While they debated having children in the pods, gym owner Steven proposed regardless, with Sabrina delightfully accepting, making them the first engaged couple on the show.
During their time with their families, the couple seem even more loved up as they decided how they would split their time between London, where Steven lives, and Sabrina’s native Belfast.
They were also the first couple to say yes at the altar, with the pair looking excited for married life.
However, things have been kept close to their chest since, with Netflix keen to hide how they’ve developed in the months between the show filming and airing.
With a special reunion airing at 9pm on Monday, the truth will finally out, with fans desperately hoping they’re wrong.
One said: “Love them why were they seating apart in the reunion. Please don’t break my heart you two.”
A second wrote: “They don’t follow each other either!”
“They’re not sat next to each other at the reunion, I’m worried,” said a third.
While a fourth commented: “I love them I hope they’re still together.”
In the reunion, all the couples will provide updates with where they are now, and if they continued their relationships after the ‘I Do’ or ‘I Don’t’.
As far as we know, Benaiah and Nicole are still married, as are Jasmine and Bobby, with both couples tying the knot during the wedding episodes.
Notably, Ollie and Demi didn’t get married but both stated their wish to continue their romance at their own pace.
However others, like Catherine and Freddie, looked like they were over when Freddie turned her down at the altar.
Maria and Tom also looked over, with Tom saying he wasn’t willing to be the sole provider for the family he felt like Maria wanted.
Sam – who initially got engaged to Nicole before they backtracked after meeting – will also be in attendance to face Nicole and Benaiah, and address comments he made on the show.
Love Is Blind UK has proven a smash hit for Netflix, with celebrities including Channing Tatum and Naomi Ackie admitting they’re hooked on the series and have been keeping up to date.
The ‘sight unseen’ series already being greenlit for a season two, with the show already looking for new contestants.
