Crystal Palace want to raid Wolves for £30million Rayan Ait-Nouri and could send England star other way in swap transfer

CRYSTAL PALACE have an eye on Wolves star Rayan Ait-Nouri.

Eagles are looking for a left-sided player who can operate in Oliver Glasner’s system — and Ait-Nouri is their first choice.

Wolves will want £30million-plus for the Algerian, 23, who has been courted by several leading clubs in the past.

But Palace may have an asset in keeper Sam Johnstone, who is fancied by Wolves.

A swap could work for both parties, with Gary O’Neill looking for a shotstopper.

They have been linked with a move for Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale to challenge Jose Sa between the sticks.

While reserve keeper Dan Bentley has been subject of interest from the Gunners.

Johnstone was stripped of the No1 jersey at Selhurst Park at the beginning of the season.

Dean Henderson has been preferred this campaign, after impressing Glasner.

Ait-Nouri made a permanent move to Wolves in 2021 for £10million, following a year loan from French side Angers.

He has since made over 100 appearances for the club in all competitions.

His performances have drawn plenty of praise from his boss who has spoken about Ait-Nouri’s versatility – playing the utility player at left-back, left-wing-back and even as a No10.

That has drummed up plenty of interest from the Premier League’s top clubs.

Arsenal and Man Utd were said to be looking at him before the summer.

While reports also linked Liverpool and Man City with the talent.
