EastEnders star reveals she’s back at work less than a week after horror accident saw her rushed to hospital
EASTENDERS star Vicki Michelle has revealed she’s already back at work just days after being rushed to hospital.
The legendary actress, 73, suffered a broken shoulder in a nasty fall and required urgent medical attention.

I’ve had a nasty fall and broken my shoulder. Ouch. Bloody painful. Me at hospital. Hopefully be with you next week. Missing you already.”
But she has returned to her weekly radio show today and looked delighted to be back.
Alongside a snap of her sitting inside the radio station’s studio, Vicki wrote: “Yaaay I’m back. Vix Mix Sunday 2 – 4pm Phoenix 98fm. I’m joined by my lovely Louise and fab Tony Smith.
“The show and you lovely people will make me feel better. Join me for fab music and fun. See you there.”
Vicki’s followers were quick to express their joy at having her back on the airwaves after her incident.
One wrote: “ Good news.”
Another commented: “Always good to hear your voice on the radio Vicki. Will look forward to tuning in. Hope the shoulder is mending well.”
And a third added: “Yay!!!!”
Vicki has fronted the local radio show, which is based in Essex, since October 2017.
The veteran actress is best known to TV fans for playing saucy waitress Yvette Carte-Blanche in iconic 80s sitcom ‘Allo ‘Allo!
The show was one of the most watched TV shows of the decade and often attracted 25 million viewers.
The actress also appeared in Emmerdale for more than two years, between 2007-2009 as Patricia Foster.
She has also appeared on reality shows including I’m A Celebrity in 2014 and Celebrity MasterChef in 2008.
Most recently, Vicki has starred in EastEnders as fiery Jo Cotton. The character made a number of appearances after impressing bosses during her first stint as the estranged wife of Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley).
