Homebuyers' association seeks reconstitution of RERAs conciliation forums

The Forum for People's Collective Efforts has requested the Centre to revamp real estate conciliation forums, alleging a developer bias. Highlighting MahaRERA's forum, they pointed out a skewed composition and lack of transparency. FPCE also seeks suspension of these forums until new guidelines are issued and suggests a five-year cooling-off period for former RERA officials joining real estate firms.
