UN envoy stresses role of Joint Military Commission to uphold ceasefire agreement in Libya

TRIPOLI, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- Stephanie Koury, the Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Political Affairs and Officer-in-Charge of the UN Support Mission in Libya, on Sunday stressed the role of the 5+5 Joint Military Commission to uphold the ceasefire agreement in the country.

Koury made the remarks during a meeting of the Commission in the city of Sirte, which is located some 450 km eas
