Sally Field Returns to Instagram to Voice Her Support for Kamala Harris: 'Hope Is Here'

Sally Field is giving social media a second chance!

Earlier this week, the two-time Oscar winner returned to Instagram for the first time in years, thanks to Vice President Kamala Harris‘ presidential bid.

In her first two posts, Sally voiced her support for Harris and not so subtly shaded former President Donald Trump.

Keep reading to find out more…“I’ve not been on social media. Not since it became public toilet paper for our former crook of a President. But ‘hope is making a comeback.’ So here I am. This is me. And this is my dog, Dash. Buckle up,” Sally first wrote along wit two photos with her dog Dash.

In her second post, Sally shared a photo of herself posing in front of her TV as Harris officially accepted the Democratic nomination for President at the 2024 Democratic National Convention.

“Hope is here. Right in the room with me and my 18-year-old newly registered to vote grandson. I’m, screaming from the highest mountain top I can find,” Sally wrote. “Vote for our country, our children and grandchildren. Vote for the earth and women and human rights. Vote for democracy. Vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Please dear God. (And I’ll be your best friend.)”
