Coimbatore biker falls into 8-feet-deep pit dug up for flyover, dies

A 36-year-old motorcyclist, V Karthikeyan, died after falling into an eight-foot-deep pit dug for flyover construction on Perur-Siruvani Road near Madampatti. The lack of visibility and lighting contributed to the accident. Karthikeyan, returning home from Coimbatore railway station, suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot.
