Heavy rainfall claims life in Chamoli; 125 roads blocked across Uttarakhand

Heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand has caused landslides and flash floods, leading to the death of a woman in Chamoli district and blocking 142 roads. Since the monsoon began, 62 lives have been lost. The India Meteorological Department issued a red alert for upcoming heavy rains in the state. Rescue operations are ongoing.
