I dreamt of having big bust but my husband shot me down – so I DUMPED him, got a boob job & I’ve never been happier

A MUM who dreamt of a bigger bust but was stopped by her husband has revealed how she dumped him to undergo a boob job.

Fiona Anderson, 48, says she was teased mercilessly as a teenager at school by other pupils about her chest.

Her traumatic schooldays left her feeling like “a wee girl” and resulted in a long-held desire for a bigger bust – inspired by topless models she had seen on the back of Tennent’s lager cans as a child.

But she was prevented from getting a boob job by her “toxic” husband.

Instead, he “suppressed” her dream for years and left Fiona in a continued state of insecurity.

She finally left him in December, before deciding to fulfil her childhood dream and is now feeling more confident than ever.

Fiona told The Sun: “I was so flat-chested. I used to get teased by other kids.

“I used to cry at night. It stopped after I left school but I still had no confidence. I was a 34A but I wasn’t even an A really.

“There was a gap between my breasts and the bra cup. I used to pad them out with chicken fillet bra inserts.”

She revealed how her husband cited finances as a reason against the boob job and wanted to have his own teeth done as a priority.

She said: “He suppressed my dreams for years. I think it was due to his own insecurities.

“He would talk about the finances and say he was getting his teeth done before I could get anything.

“But he never went to the dentist when I’d make appointments.”

The couple split after growing apart as Fiona developed an interest in yoga and living a healthy lifestyle.

Despite always longing for a set of huge fake boobs, she eventually decided to go for an “athletic boob job” as part of a new trend among British women for more natural-looking breast enlargements.

She said: “After getting into yoga and losing weight it just didn’t feel right getting huge boobs.

“I just wanted more natural-looking boobs. There’s been a change, the fake look is out of fashion now.”

Now feeling super confident and overjoyed with the results, Fiona is planning to celebrate with a trip to Benidorm.

The student nurse said: “I’m single and ready to mingle. I even got my nipples pierced.

“And I’ve ordered some revealing dresses from Shein and got some bikinis which I can’t wait to wear.

“I never used to get male attention and I just want to have some fun now. My inner Goddess has been released.”

I got a 34DD boob job so my husband wouldn’t leave me… instead it nearly killed me

POSING for her wedding photos, Ionela Ardelean had never felt so confident.

The plunging neckline of her asymmetrical white gown showed off her 34DD implants to perfection — and she felt confident her new husband’s head would never be turned.

But it came at a cost.

Just a few years later, CCTV operator Ionela was left battling hair loss, a failing memory and heart palpitations so debilitating she feared she might die.

She says: “I was just 33 but felt like a frail 85-year-old. And the culprit was my boob job. It felt like my implants were trying to kill me.”

Previously a 34B, Ionela, 37, from Bristol, had always felt self-conscious about her smaller chest.

She met husband Vlatko, 40, a warehouse operator, on a coffee date in July 2015.

In May 2016, Ionela paid £5,000 for a 105-minute procedure at a clinic in the Midlands.

At first, she was thrilled with her larger breasts

Apart from some discomfort when running, she had no significant side-effects.

But after the birth of their son in October 2019, everything changed. She says: “I was exhausted and overwhelmed. Then, when my son was a couple of months old, I went to a sauna and after ten minutes, I felt nauseous and faint.

“I got a crushing headache, had reduced range of movement, zero energy and a strange burning in my chest. I spent the night curled up, sobbing silently, so as not to wake up my husband and son.”

Glasgow’s La Belle Forme plastic surgery clinic, where Fiona had her operation, said the so-called “athletic boob jobs” are becoming increasingly popular.

Alessio Vinci, a consultant plastic surgeon at the clinic, said: “Body ideals are shifting and we are seeing a noticeable move towards a more athletic body type.

“Increasingly, women are inspired by the strength and natural look of female athletes, leading to a preference for a smaller breast augmentation and/or breast uplifts.

“A smaller cup size offers a streamlined physique, increasing confidence whilst maintaining an athletic appearance.”

Fiona feels more confident than ever after her operation – and she is now looking to celebrate her new bust with a trip to Benidorm.
