VIDEO: KXAN asks area HS football stars: What can you do better than any teammate?
AUSTIN (KXAN) - It's officially game week for Texas high school football. KXAN has been to several area high schools to preview the upcoming season.
While many questions pertained to football, some didn't. One question we asked every player we interviewed that wasn't related to football was: What do you do better than any of your teammates?
The answers do not disappoint. They range from riding personal watercraft to reading to everything in between. The video above shows some of the best answers from athletes in the area.
The season will kick off Thursday night with a double-dip of action on KBVO and CW Austin. The Taco Shack Bowl between rivals Anderson and McCallum kicks off at 7:30 p.m. from House Park on KBVO while Westlake takes on Prosper from Crusaders Stadium at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, also at 7:30 p.m. on the CW Austin.
