(Video) BBC pundit demands Liverpool pay stalwart ‘what he wants’ ahead of contract close

Liverpool have a host of key players in the final year of their contracts and it seems that we’re yet to secure the future of any of them just yet.

Speaking about the future of Mo Salah, Fara Williams said: “I think you have to pay him what he wants, you need him there!”

Few will disagree that the future without our Egyptian King looks worse than what we have at the moment and so calls for a new contract will only grow louder.

This would be a big enough issue if it wasn’t for Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold also nearing the close of their current deals too.
