While no affair has been confirmed or denied, there seems to be a pattern with the 52-year-old actor after his marriages are over.

Fans will remember that after he announced his divorce from Jennifer Garner, he was almost immediately linked to his children’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian. Affleck denied the affair and Garner downplayed it as the reason for their breakup. “We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. They spent about a year together, dating from 2017 to 2018, but insiders revealed that their romance began in 2013 during his marriage to Garner. According to a People source, the Yes Day star confronted Shookus in 2015. “Lindsay refused to back down or quit the affair,” the source claimed. Garner reportedly approached Shookus’ ex-husband, Kevin Miller, with “proof” that the relationship between their spouses had occurred.

Within a week of Affleck’s split with Shookus, he was linked to 22-year-old Playboy model, Shauna Sexton. His brief fling with her was highly publicized because it led up to his entry into rehab in 2018. “He makes his own decisions. Blaming a 22-year-old for someone’s 3rd time in rehab is just ridiculous. He is human. I am human,” she wrote on her Instagram account, via StyleCaster, after she was blamed for his return to rehab. Their romance was short-lived because he wound up back with Shookus in 2019 after he got sober.

So, Affleck’s alleged relationship with Kennedy only repeats his dating patterns after a major breakup in his life. The reported friendship — that could be something more — shows that he has a history of running from one person to the next. Perhaps it’s time for him to slow down and prioritize his self-care first.
