Kate Winslet to Star in Hulu Drama 'The Spot' - Details Revealed!

Kate Winslet is starring in a new Hulu series.

The 48-year-old Titanic alum will appear in A24, Ed Solomon and 20th Television’s The Spot, which she will also executive produce, in a straight-to-series order, via Deadline.

Created and written by Ed Solomon, who will serve as showrunner, The Spot “follows a successful surgeon (Winslet) and her school teacher husband who suspect she might be responsible for a child’s hit-and-run death. While looking into the matter, dark secrets are revealed that will test their relationship as they confront the possibility of hidden guilt and betrayal.”

Ed began his career as a writer on ABC TV’s Laverne & Shirley, wrote Men In Black and worked on the Now You See Me movies, among many other accomplishments.
