Southampton Star Has Already Passed Exit Medical

Southampton midfielder Carlos Alcaraz has already undergone a medical ahead of his proposed transfer to Flamengo and will arrive in Brazil on Friday night.

 

Alcaraz spent the latter half of last season on loan at Juventus and featured as a late substitute in Southampton’s defeat at Newcastle United.

 

However, the midfielder is on the verge of leaving the club on a permanent deal ahead of the end of the transfer window.

 

 

Flamengo have a deal in place with Southampton to sign the player for a deal worth €20m this summer

 

According to Brazilian broadcaster RubroNews TV, the midfielder has already passed a medical with the Brazilian outlet.

 

 

Flamengo managed to put him through his paces and he is now all clear to move to Brazil this summer.

 

The midfielder is scheduled to fly out to the South American country and will arrive in Brazil on Friday.

 

 

Once he signs a contract with Flamengo, Alcaraz will become the club-record signing for them at a fee of €20m.
