State Police: Fatal crash in Brunswick under investigation
BRUNSWICK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in the town of Brunswick on Friday. Troopers responded to the scene on Friday at around 11:37 a.m. for reports of a two-car crash with severe injuries on Tamarac Road.
State Police say Richard Turner, 66, of Troy was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was transported to Albany Medical Center for serious injuries and they remain in stable condition according to the State Police.
Tamarac Road was closed between John Snyder Road and Old Siek Road for about seven hours for reconstruction and investigation on the day of the crash. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
