Home health aid accused of stealing $10K from patient
NISKAYUNA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Niskayuna Police Department announced the arrest of a home health aid from New York City for allegedly stealing from their patient. Elena Lino, 61, was charged with third-degree grand larceny.
The police say they received a report of over $10,000 stolen from a home in Niskayuna on August 14. Police say their investigation led to Lino being identified as the homeowner's home health aid and the suspect before she was arrested and transported to Schenectady County Jail to await arraignment.
