CRITICS slammed a husband for his “childish” behavior during a gender reveal party.
Viewers scolded him for embarrassing his wife and his three children in front of a crowd.
Redditor CodeWild7795 shared her relationship problem in a post.
The wife explained that she’d been pregnant with her fourth child when the couple threw the gender reveal party.
“We have three little girls under the age of six,” she said.
“I’m pregnant with baby number four, and we just had our gender reveal party with family today.”
She revealed that her husband has “really been wanting a son ever since our first child was born.”
“I personally don’t care about the gender, so if I ever had a son, I know I’d be so happy,” she said.
The feeling, however, was not mutual.
“He, on the other hand, ruined our gender reveal party, and he says he isn’t sorry.”
After cutting the cake, the gender of their fourth child was announced by the dessert’s inner pink icing.
“I was so happy, but he yelled ‘F no,’ threw the plastic knife across the yard, and kicked the whole table over.
“Our other daughters looked at their dad and said, ‘You don’t like girls?’
“He stomped off and told me it was my fault we were having another girl.”
Shocked and deplored by the behavior, the mother explained that she knew that wasn’t true.
“I have no control over what we have, but my kids and I will always remember how he acted over this gender reveal,” she said.
