Jenna Ortega Reflects on That Crazy Johnny Depp Rumor, Reveals Which Celeb Believed the Fake News

Jenna Ortega is looking back at that crazy rumor that she was dating Johnny Depp.

The 21-year-old actress already slammed the reports in an Instagram post last year, but now she’s reflecting on how that rumor made her feel and also which celebrity actually believed the fake news.

In a new BuzzFeed Puppy interview, Jenna was asked to reveal the craziest rumor she’s ever heard about herself.

“Probably that I was in a serious relationship with Johnny Depp, and I wanted everybody to leave us alone,” Jenna said. “It’s so insane to me. Like, I never spoke on that. I never said anything like that. Articles really do just make up their own quotes, but I thought that that was pretty hilarious.”

“I was on set with Richard E. Grant, and he came up to me and he just said, ‘Oh, so you and Johnny?’ And I laughed because I… I don’t know that person,” she added.

Jenna and Richard recently filmed the upcoming movie Death of a Unicorn.

In the same interview, Jenna revealed the Dune role she auditioned for.
