Road works close sections of Nicosia-Limassol highway

Overnight works will be carried out on a section of the Nicosia-Limassol highway and on the Limassol bypass with sections of both lanes closing, the department of public works announced.

According to the announcement, the works will be carried until Thursday, August 29, from 9pm until 6am the following day. The safety works affect the Nicosia-Limassol highway and the Limassol bypass in the section from the Moni junction to the new Limassol hospital junction.

The sections will be partially closed for a distance of 200m with traffic diverted into a single lane.

The police recommends caution and driving at a safe, low speed, maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, and complying with temporary road markings.
