Man sought on attempted murder, illegal use of weapons warrants
IBERIA PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office is searching for a 19-year-old man who is wanted on warrants for attempted first-degree murder, violating protection orders and more.
Travis Melancon is wanted on warrants for attempted first-degree murder, illegal use of weapons, aggravated criminal damage to property and violation of protection orders, the sheriff's office said.
The sheriff's office Melancon is wanted in connection with a shooting in which the victim received a non-life-threatening injury.
Authorities declined to provide any additional information on the shooting.
