Fans had been eagerly awaiting the news at 8am following The Sun’s exclusive confirmation that the Wonderwall hitmakers will play a whopping four shows at Wembley.

We previously told how their reunion was in the bag – with the Don’t Look Back In Anger hitmakers set to play a series of historic gigs in 2025.

Now they revealed on their web post this will initially see them head to Cardiff, Manchester, London, Dublin and Edinburgh.

They confirmed to loyal fans all their dreams of a reunion – which many thought would never transpire – had come true with the words: “This is it, this is happening.”

They the referred to their long-standing feud as they added the words: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned.

“The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

On their page on social media site X, they told how they will kick off the gigs at Cardiff‘s Principality Stadium on July 4 and 5 before returning to home turf.

They will play Manchester‘s Heaton Park on July 11, 12, 19 and 20.

The rockers – who have bagged 10 UK number one albums between them – will head down south to London‘s Wembley Stadium on July 25 and 26, before picking up the tour there on August 2 and 3.

Next comes August 8 and 9 at Edinburgh, in the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, before August 16 and 17 gigs in Dublin, at Croke Park.

Tickets for the UK dates go on sale from 9am on Saturday, August 31.

Dublin tickets will be available from 8am that same day

The shows, which will run through next summer, are expected to rake in £400million – and they will not be televised.

They both teased the announcement late on Sunday — when the band’s logo appeared on their social media with the date “27.08.24” flickering to read “8am”.

Insiders had told The Sun the warring brothers had secretly come together for a photoshoot which would be used to promote the gigs, which are a joint operation between promoters Live Nation and SJM.

The dramatic reunion came after the Mancunian brothers ended their 19-year long feud.

Noel, 57, quit the band in 2009 saying he could no longer work with Liam, 51, yet the pair appear to have patched up their differences.

A music industry insider said this weekend: “Oasis’s comeback tour is going to be absolutely massive and next summer they’re going to be taking over the country.

“They will announce four shows at Wembley Stadium today, along with a load more dates across the whole of the UK — including in Manchester, which will be incredibly poignant for them.

“Live Nation and SJM have joined up on the project because it’s so enormous. In short, today there are going to be a ton of tickets available – Noel and Liam want everyone to have the chance to see them.”

The Sun confirmed yesterday that they were getting back together, with the shows expected to rake in £400million.

We also told how the project was given the thumbs up just seven weeks ago.

Confirmation was given last month and the wheels were set in motion, with everyone involved in the comeback made to sign non-disclosure agreements to keep details of the tour top-secret.

Liam and Noel, who have both been touring this year, secretly met for a photoshoot to accompany the posters which will be released today.

Our source added: “It was a pinch-me moment to have Noel and Liam together. It has taken a lot to get them to this point but they’re thinking of the fans.

“The shoot was top-secret and barely anyone knew about it. For their fans to see them together again will be an amazing sight, the atmosphere in the room was fizzing, it was electric.

“Once the announcement is made and their fans are rushing to buy the tickets, the hard work will start as they get ready to start performing together again.

“It’s something so many people never thought would happen.

“But now the brakes have been taken off and it’s going to be mad.”

Yet despite the comeback, it has been claimed the siblings are still “a long way off” being pals.

Yet, in a touching gesture, Liam dedicated a track to his big brother at the Reading Festival this weekend.

Tickets will be available from www.ticketmaster.co.uk, www.gigsandtours.com and www.seetickets.com. from www.ticketmaster.ie.

The Oasis 25 tour is expected to head to Europe later in the year.
