Southampton Weighing Up Raid On West Brom For Baggies Star

Southampton are keen on West Brom star Tom Fellows and are weighing up a bid for him in the coming days, according to the Daily Mail.

 

The academy graduate enjoyed an impressive season with the Baggies last term, finishing with nine goal contributions 38 appearances overall.

 

Southampton manager Russell Martin observed the player closely last season and is keen on having him on board.

 

 

With the transfer window reaching its conclusion though, the Saints have their work cut out.

 

They are considering a bid in the region of £10m with which they hope they will be able to convince the Baggies.

 

 

It though remains to be seen what West Brom’s response is once an official bid is tabled.

 

Carlos Corberan’s side still have the player contracted for the next three years and are not expected to let him leave easily, particularly given that they will not have enough time to find a replacement.

 

 

Saints have lost both their matches since returning to the top flight after the gap of a season.
