Wolves Make Decision On Arsenal Goalkeeper Pursuit

Wolverhampton Wanderers have pulled out of the race for Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale after considering the move to be too expensive, according to the BBC.

Wolves are juggling a number of transfer targets before the window closes as they eye a centre-back and a winger.

Signing a goalkeeper has also been something that the Molineux club are looking at.

Talks have been held about signing Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, with Wolves favouring an initial loan.

However, the Gunners have slapped in a price tag of £20m on the player – a fee that the Wolves have refused to match.

The total package is one that Wolves feel is too expensive and they are no longer chasing Ramsdale.

With deadline day looming though, it remains to be seen whether they ultimately manage to end up signing a goalkeeper.

Wolves are operating under a limited budget despite earning almost £100m from the sale of Pedro Neto and Max Kilman.
