Center for Law and Justice selects operations director
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The Center for Law and Justice has appointed Ta-Sean Murdock as Director of Operation following the passing of Executive Director and Founder Dr. Alice Green. Murdock had worked closely with Green in the center's mission of fighting for equity and empowering the Albany community.
The center's board of directors plans to announce Green's successor later. Murdock will continue working on the center's mission since its inception. Murdock said he is dedicated to upholding Green's vision and creating a strong society for the years to come.
"It is an immense honor to carry forward the legacy of Dr. Alice Green, a woman who has profoundly shaped the fight for justice and equity in our community," Murdock said. "While her passing is a significant loss, the values she instilled in all of us will continue to guide the work of the Center for Law and Justice."
Anyone interested in upcoming community initiatives or Green's memorial services will become available soon. Donations in honor of Green can be made through the Center for Law and Justice website.
