Will boycott elections if 'outsiders' contest: Haryana's Sohna mahapanchayat

Residents from over 100 villages in Sohna and Tauru held a mahapanchayat to oppose 'outsiders' contesting in local elections. None of the MLAs elected from Sohna since 1972 have been locals. The mahapanchayat plans to select a local candidate if political parties or independent candidates do not meet their criteria.
