Bad Bunny Cast In 'Caught Stealing,' Joins Austin Butler & More In Darren Aronofsky Film

Bad Bunny has lined up his next acting project!

The 30-year-old “Un Preview” rapper and singer has been cast in the upcoming crime thriller Caught Stealing, which is based on the book of the same name by Charlie Huston, Deadline reveals.

Austin Butler is leading the upcoming movie, which will be directed by Darren Aronofksy.

Caught Stealing “follows Hank Thompson (Butler), a burned-out former baseball player, as he’s unwittingly plunged into a wild fight for survival in the downtown criminal underworld of ‘90s New York City.”

Also in the cast are Zoe Kravitz, Regina King, Matt Smith, Will Brill and Liev Schreiber.

This casting will reunite Bad Bunny with Sony Pictures after he previously starred in the studio’s Bullet Train with Brad Pitt. Benito was also supposed to star in the superhero film El Muerto with Sony, but that was scrapped.

His other acting credits include the movie Cassandro, as well as the series Narcos: Mexico, and a small cameo in F9.
