Jazz Jennings Celebrates Losing Nearly 100 Pounds in 2 Years
Jazz Jennings is sharing a major update on her weight loss journey.
For the past few years, the 23-year-old I am Jazz star has been documenting her weight loss journey on social media, engaging in activities like tennis, running, and hitting the gym.
On Monday (August 26), Jazz took to Instagram to celebrate losing nearly 100 pounds over the past two years.

I’m so proud of my progress and want to thank my family, friends and all who supported me in getting there!” Jazz wrote. “Good health is not a certificate you display, it is a constant effort! I still have room for improvement, but I am more motivated and inspired than I’ve been in years. Let’s keep it going! Follow @jazzjennings_ to keep up with the journey + more.”
Along with her post, Jazz shared a video of herself from two years ago struggling to run, which then transitioned to a more recent video of herself looking noticeably slimmer as she ran with ease.
Back in June 2021, Jazz got vulnerable about her “substantial” weight gain.
“I suffer from binge-eating disorder, a disease in which I’m not only addicted to food, but I eat it in large quantities,” she wrote at the time. “My binging, along with an increased appetite I experience from some of the meds I’m on, has caused me to gain almost 100 pounds in a little less than 2 years.”
She noted that she was “ready to take the initiative and create positive changes” for her health.
