Georgia man arrested for alleged gun possession, DWI
GREENFIELD, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- State Police arrested a man from Collins, Georgia, for gun possession and driving while intoxicated on Saturday. Troopers said Clayton L. Sikes, 27, was arrested and charged after responding to South Greenfield Road for a vehicle that hit a utility pole with downed wires.
Troopers said Sikes was identified as the driver and arrested for driving while intoxicated. When Troopers were investigating the vehicle, they found multiple illegal and loaded firearms as well as illegal ammunition-feeding devices.
When he was taken into custody, Sikes refused to provide a sample for a blood alcohol content test. He was arraigned in Moreau Town Court and released after posting $500 cash bail.
