Bill encourages colleges, boosters to collaborate in compensating athletes

COLUMBUS — Just as a new season of college football is about to get under way, a pair of Ohio lawmakers introduced a bill Wednesday to clarify what they say are “gray areas” in existing law allowing intercollegiate athletes to profit from their own names, images, and likenesses.
