We’re 35 weeks into the year, but there have only been 15 songs at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 so far in 2024.

Several singles have multi-week runs at the top of the chart, so not many songs get a chance at reaching the summit.

Taylor Swift, Post Malone, Morgan Wallen, and Shaboozey are among the stars who have spent many weeks on the top of the chart in 2024.

Billboard notes that the chart “blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data, the lattermost metric reflecting purchases of physical singles and digital tracks from full-service digital music retailers.”
