Cold front arrives tonight sparking up storms

Yet another warm start in the morning with temperatures in the middle 70s. The sky is mostly clear and we hold on to a south wind at 5-10 mph. We are looking at one last hot day before relief finally arrives.

Much of today will still be much like what we have seen the last couple of days. Highs climb into the middle 90s under a mostly sunny sky. A cold front arrives tonight and that sparks the chance for storms.

Storms move across northeast Kansas late this evening into the overnight hours. Some storms could be on the stronger side with some gusty winds. The rain continues into early Friday morning and it leaves us with a cooldown.

Friday looks beautiful with highs only getting into the lower 80s. This cool-down looks to last through the weekend and into next week!
