Rasheeda Bano, 52, was born to Kerala-origin parents in Karachi in 1972 but moved to her parents’ native place in Kannur in 2008. Ever since, she has fought a valiant battle to secure citizenship for her herself and her children. The battle, although ongoing, is half-won, reports Mithosh Joseph
