Britain’s ‘chavviest house’ FINALLY sells for bargain sum after being teased over rose gold toilet & glitterball vase

A HOUSE has been sold for the bargain price of £180,000 after being teased as “chavvy” online.

Situated in the popular location of Prescot, Merseyside, the semi-detached house has three bedrooms, a large garden, a conservatory, and is close to schools and parks.

The conservatory has purple ribbons on the windows, a furry rug, a chaise longue, a disco-glitter vase and plenty of pink flowers

Although it has potential on paper, social media users could not look past the interior and took to social media to share their thoughts on the advertisement.

One person joked: “That is Britain’s chavviest house. It has a horrendous interior.”

While a second poked fun, adding:  “It’s so much worse than I expected.”

On the outside, the house does not seem any more imposing than the next, however, the interior proves otherwise.

At a glance, crushed velvet and faux fur appear to be popular materials in this household, matched to a pink and grey colour scheme.

Pink and purple ribbons decorate most of the windows and chairs while several ‘live, laugh, love’ signs hang on the walls.

The kitchen is themed black and baby pink with plenty of decoration, including a glass-top table with a silver cherub stand.

The conservatory has a white deluxe chaise longue, a pink and white cream rug, and a glitterball-style vase with pink roses.

Upstairs, the beds have crushed velvet headboards and Chanel duvet covers and pillowcases. Each room also has a furry looking rug or throw in it.

Plus, the bathroom toilet seat is rose gold and sparkly.

“It’s a monstrosity,” a third person joked.

“Whoever has bought that should demand thousands off the asking price for the money you’re going to spend totally de-chavving the place.

“I’d pay double what it’s up for sale just for the absolute guarantee I would never have to live there.”

A fourth teased: “You’d just pull it all down and start again.”

Journalist Christian Calgie wrote: “Excluding houses with severe fire damage, I don’t think I have seen a worse interior.”

On X, formerly known as Twitter a person replied: “Arguably, a severe fire here would be an improvement.”

Rightmove describes the house as: “Perfect for first time buyers or for those looking for a starter home for their young family, this delightful property has a great deal to offer.”
