India, China hold 31st WMCC meeting, vow to maintain peace along Line of Actual Control

India and China held their 31st meeting of the Working Mechanism for Consultation & Coordination on India-China Border Affairs in Beijing. Representatives from both countries discussed the situation along the Line of Actual Control to narrow differences and resolve outstanding issues. They agreed to maintain peace and tranquility in the border areas, in line with bilateral agreements, as a step to normalise relations.
