White Gold and Malachite Unite in Frederique Constants New Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture

Frederique Constant is building on the success of the Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture with a new version in white gold. The limited edition of 36 pieces will be unveiled during the Geneva Watch Days 2024.

The choice of case material underlines the exclusivity of the manufacture watch, as the Geneva-based luxury brand produces very few models in white gold. In addition, the malachite dial is a first for Frederique Constant. This soft natural stone, with its subtle green hue, provides the backdrop for the two complications that give the Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture its name: a moon-phase display with integrated pointer date.

The ensemble of the moon phase display and the traditional pointer date appears at the 6 o’clock position. The silver-colored celestial body, which matches the case and dial, orbits across a gray-green starry sky. The hands and indexes have been redesigned to be slimmer. The railroad minute track further enhances the harmonious and elegant look.

At the heart of the Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture is the FC-716 manufacture movement, visible through the transparent case-back of the 41 mm white gold case. The high-quality, finely finished automatic caliber beats at 4 Hz and has a 72-hour power reserve. The Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture is presented on a dark green crocodile leather strap with a folding clasp. Limited to 36 pieces, it will be available from September 2024 at a price of $29,995.
