Nottingham Forest Keep Tabs On Out-of-Favour West Ham Star

Nottingham Forest are keeping tabs on out-of-favour West Ham midfielder James Ward-Prowse going into the final day of the window, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

 

West Ham paid big money to sign him from Southampton last summer but he is no longer a key part of their squad under new manager Julen Lopetegui.

 

He is on big wages at the London Stadium and West Ham are keen to move him on before the window closes on Friday night.

 

 

His agents have been offering him to several Premier League clubs, including his former side Southampton.

 

It has been claimed that he is one of the names on Nottingham Forest’s shortlist going into the final day of the window.

 

 

Forest are keeping tabs on his situation and could make a move for Ward-Prowse on deadline day.

 

No agreement is close but Nottingham Forest are interested in exploring a deal to sign him in the next 24 hours.

 

 

A return to Southampton on the final day of the window has also not been ruled out.
