Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center announces 2024 lecture series

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center and the Saratoga Springs Public Library are set to start their new Brown Bag Lunch Lecture Series. The 2024 series is designed to highlight different parts of the city's history, culture and traditions.

With four lectures this season, each program will begin at noon at the Dutcher Community Room at the public library. All lectures are free and open to anyone in the community.

Fall lecture season:

  • Thursday, Sept. 12: "LifeWorks Community Action. Help Starts Here"
  • Thursday, Oct. 10: "A Heritage in Poetry & Song"
  • Thursday, Nov. 14: "Saratoga County's Revolutionary War Patriot Burials"
  • Thursday, Dec. 12: "The Kayaderosseras Patent"

"We are grateful to the speakers, our partners at the library and our attendees who contribute their time and talents to sustain this popular lecture series," Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center Director Karen Verrigni, said. "Through partnership and collaboration, we’re able to provide quality programming to our community."
