Morse man arrested in connection with July drive-by shooting
MORSE, La. (KLFY) -- A Morse man was arrested Wednesday after an alleged drive-by shooting last month, authorities said.
Jacque Fachan, 21, of Morse, is charged with assault by drive-by shooting, aggravated criminal damage to property and illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities in connection with an incident on July 28.
Authorities said the incident was the result of a disagreement between the suspect and an unnamed victim on Istre Road near Morse. As the suspect was leaving the scene, he stopped his vehicle and fired multiple shots towards the victim. The victim was not hit, but the victim's residence was struck several times and was occupied, officials said.
Bond details were not released.
