Towie’s Roman Hackett splits with Love Island star – as he admits he’s still in love with co-star ex
ROMAN Hackett has revealed he and Love Island star Ella Barnes split after she joined the last series of Towie.
Towie‘s Roman enjoyed a brief romance with Ella when she made an appearance on the ITVBe show but has confirmed they’re no longer dating.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, he said: “She was on the show.
“We were dating for a while, things didn’t work out but we still speak, she’s a lovely girl… beautiful. It’s just that things didn’t work out.”
But Roman isn’t ruling out something happening with Ella down the line.
He added: “We speak a lot [so] potentially. We’re very very close. Me and her weren’t like a flirty relationship, I look out for her. She’s a good girl.”
Despite this Roman also confessed to having feelings for co-star Dani Imbert – but insisted she doesn’t feel the same way.
Roman said: “You know the history between me and Dani [Imbert], it’s been an on and off thing.
“It’s similar to the Pete [Wicks] and Ella [Rae Wise] situation. Everytime we’re together we flirt.
“If I’m honest with you, I have feelings for her, but she doesn’t have feelings for me.”
Speaking previously to The Sun while filming the series opener in Cyprus, Roman insisted he and Dani would be “having a holiday romance”.
He said: “I’m a very, like, flirtatious person, and I find it hard not to flirt with her.”
When asked about the possibility of them hooking up, Roman played coy, but laughed: “100%. You’ll see… You’ll see something.”
