Rebecca Sudwarts, who is five foot eight and in between a size 14 and 16, took to social media to model her new Tesco buys, leaving many totally stunned.

The curvy fashion fan, who is from the UK, nabbed a collection of items, from jeans and cardigans, to skirts and tops, all of which are great for going into Autumn/Winter.

Posting online, the ex Senior Fashion Buyer said: “You are going to love this new-in F&F Autumn/Winter haul.”

Rebecca posted her clip with the caption ‘Disclaimer: This video is a long one, but trust me, it’s worth every second!

‘By the end, you might find yourself grabbing your keys and heading straight to Tesco to shop till you drop.

‘If you’re not on the hunt for some serious AW inspo, you might want to scroll on…’

To kick off her haul, Rebecca rocked a £22.50 pleated skirt, which she styled with a £14 black bodysuit.

Thrilled with the skirt, she beamed: “Plenty of room, such a lovely bloat-friendly style. Such a versatile skirt.”

She then switched the bodysuit for a £19.50 jumper and added: “Such a great winter look.”

The fashionista also showed off her really great “trans-seasonal co-ord” – a textured material two piece that is £18 for the trousers and £12.50 for the top.

Thrilled with her outfit, Rebecca continued: “How comfy and easy is this to throw on?

“Another easy look that’ll take you into Autumn.”

Following this, we saw Rebecca show off her new black, barrel leg, high-rise jeans, which are £22.50.

The F&F fan explained: “They are a bit cropped on me, I really like them.

“They are really comfy, really nice with a little bit of stretch.”

Is supermarket fashion the new high street?

DEPUTY Fashion Editor Abby McHale weighs in:

The supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, as you head in to do your weekly food shop you can also pick up a selection of purse-friendly, stylish pieces for all the family.

Tesco has just announced a 0.7 per cent increase in the quarter thanks to a ‘strong growth in clothing’ and M&S has earnt the title of the number one destination for womenswear on the high street.

Asda’s clothing line George has made £1.5 million for the supermarket in 2023, 80 per cent of Sainsbury’s clothes sold at full price rather than discounted and Nutmeg at Morrisons sales are also up 2 per cent in the past year.

So what is it about supermarket fashion that is becoming so successful?

Apart from the clothing actually being affordable, it’s good quality too – with many being part of schemes such as the Better Cotton Initiative.

A lot of the time they keep to classic pieces that they know will last the customer year after year.

Plus because they buy so much stock they can turn around pieces quickly and buy for cheaper because of the volumes.

She paired the jeans with a striped knitted top, which is just £18, as she continued: “This really is very versatile, you could wear it with a long-sleeved top underneath and it’ll take you into winter.”

Following this, Rebecca modelled a leopard print blouse, which is £22.50, as she shared: “I’ve styled it more in a casual way, but you could easily dress this up.

“Really nice quality, a balloon sleeve with a neck scarf.”

Not only this, but Rebecca also got her hands on a blue pair of wide leg jeans, priced at £22.50, alongside a cream cardigan, as she claimed: “They fit really well. I’ve worn it here with denim but this will also be a great workwear cardigan as well.”

Reasons to shop supermarket fashion

When looking for new pieces to add to your seasonal wardrobe, or update your basics, there's no need to spend hours walking around clothes shops, or scrolling online. Just pick up a dress or two alongside your fruit and veg...

They’re convenient – Chances are you visit your supermarket more times than a shopping centre or high street.

It’s affordable – For basics  to more fashion-led pieces, supermarkets are leading the way for budget fashion that doesn’t look cheap.

They’re more on-trend that you think – With a customer database larger than the average high street store, shops like ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Tesco are able to cater to the markets and predict trends in a lot more areas than just food supply.

They fit well – Fits and lengths often come with a little more modesty in mind. Fabrics are often highly practical too—think plenty of 100% cotton that can be thrown into the washing machine without thought.

After this, Rebecca showed off her new cable knit jumper, priced at £22.50, as she shared: “You could wear this for work with trousers. It’s super soft and cosy.”

But to finish off the haul, we saw Rebecca in a cream bomber jacket, as she beamed: “Star of the show is this bomber for me. £35.

“I think this will be such a versatile piece in my wardrobe.

“Really lovely cream colour and it’s boucle quality.

“I could layer it over dresses, denim, it would also look great in a more formal way.”

FASHION FANS BEAM

The Instagram clip, which was posted under the username @stylingwithrebecca, has clearly impressed many, as at the time of writing, it had quickly racked up 50,000 views.
