Reaction to Prince Harry and William secret reunion at uncle’s funeral revealed by close family friend
A CLOSE family friend of both Prince Harry and William has revealed their reaction to the brothers’ secret reunion at their uncle’s funeral.
The estranged princes attended the funeral for Lord Robert Fellowes, who was their mother Diana’s brother-in-law, but “kept their distance”.

But a close family friend said they were “very happy to confirm both princes were there“.
They were said to have sat apart at the back of the church in Snettisham, Norfolk.
“William and Harry were both there but we never saw them speak to each other and they were keeping their distance,” a source told The Sun.
Another added: “I didn’t know they were there. They arrived very discreetly.”
The brothers have barely spoken to each other since Megxit, when Harry and wife Meghan quit royal duties for a new life in the States.
Harry and William, 42, went on a walkabout at Windsor after the death of Queen Elizabeth in 2022 but have not been in the same room since the King’s Coronation more than a year ago.
Eton-educated Lord Fellowes, who died last month aged 82, worked in banking before joining the Royal Household in 1977.
He married Diana’s sister Lady Jane Spencer the following year with the future princess a bridesmaid.
He would go on to serve as Queen Elizabeth’s Private Secretary from 1990 to 1999, becoming one of her most trusted advisers during a tumultuous period, including Princess Diana’s death.
Lord and Lady Fellowes lived close to the church where yesterday’s funeral was held.
Lady Fellowes joined Harry at a service earlier this year at St Paul’s Cathedral for the tenth anniversary of his Invictus Games
Her husband featured on screen in Netflix drama The Crown where he was played by Andrew Havill.
A spokesman for Kensington Palace said they would not comment on William’s private time.
Harry’s Archewell Foundation was also approached for comment.
