Tickets for BINI’s ‘Grand BINIverse’ concert sold out

MANILA, Philippines – Tickets for BINI’s highly anticipated Grand BINIverse concert in November are sold out, Star Music PH announced on Friday, August 30.

“General public selling for Ticketnet online and outlets on August 31 will not push through as all tickets have been sold out,” Star Music said in a social media post.

All tickets were only sold through a presale for 88 fans with the BINI Wand on Thursday, August 29, followed by a BINI website member presale on Friday. A general sale was supposed to take place on Saturday, August 31.

According to the ticket guidelines released by Star Music PH, presale customers are allowed to get four tickets per membership ID for the concert.

Before tickets were sold out, at least 90 of BINI’s fans — also known as Blooms — lined up for a chance to get tickets in the general sale near the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Fionna Drew, who became a Bloom in June, noticed the growing line as she was supposed to fetch a relative at a bus station in the area. She told Rappler that she also wasn’t able to secure tickets to the concert as she encountered errors during the presale — her membership code didn’t work. She was supposed to lead several other potential buyers who were going to camp at Eastwood Mall in Quezon City for tickets.

Drew looked back on how the group surged in popularity as she got to line up with friends to help them get tickets for the BINIverse concert at the New Frontier Theater back in April.

“There are more people lining up, not only with dedicated Blooms, as there are lowkey and casual listeners. We are happy that there are a lot who support and appreciate BINI. That’s why others want to experience Grand BINIverse as they expect that ticket prices for future events [or] concerts will get more expensive,” she said in a mix of English and Filipino.

BINI will hold the Grand BINIverse concert on November 16 and 17 at the Araneta Coliseum. The shows will fall on the day that BINI will mark one year since it released “Pantropiko.”

Dubbed as the “Nation’s Girl Group,” BINI made its official debut in June 2021. They are composed of Jhoanna, Maloi, Stacey, Aiah, Colet, Gwen, Mikha, and Sheena. 

The group is known for its songs “Na Na Na,” “I Feel Good,” “Lagi,” “Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi,” “Karera,” and “Cherry On Top.” – Rappler.com
