Jordan urged men to open up about their emotions and praised his fellow male cast members for their support.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Jordan said: “Me and Sophie have a hell of a lot going on, especially with our fertility journey, that’ my main focus.

“As everyone knows from last series, it’s been a really tough time for both of us, I’m so proud of her and everything she’s done.

“She was there supporting me, I had all my sperm tests done last series – the results were that were amazing.

“But sadly we’re still in the same position as we were last series, there’s no sign of a baby yet.

“It does get hard and there are a lot of couples out there going through what we’re going through.

“I’m just glad we can show our journey.

Especially from my side of things, to give men the courage to talk about it.”

Jordan has encouraged other men in his position to not bottle up their emotions – as he teased fans will see a heartwarming scenes with him and the other lads.

“I want men to be able to speak about it. This series I definitely delve into more of the men’s mental health side and bottling things up,” he told us.

“What me and Sophie are going through is probably more than I was letting on.

“I like to be the happy guy, who turns up and makes everyone laugh and smile. I like to be that person, but it’s hard to be that person when you’re struggling with a journey that we’re going through.”

Jordan admitted his co-stars have supported him throughout this – especially his fellow male cast members Dan Edgar, Roman Hackett and James ‘Diags’ Bennewith.

Jordan said: “I’ve been back for four series now and we’ve built a really strong bond the four of us. I couldn’t imagine doing it without them.

“This series they’ve been a great support for me.

“I had some really emotional scenes with them where I really open up to the boys. I encourage more men to do.

“The hardest thing was opening up to my pals, as men we sometimes don’t want to look weak.

“I got to the stage when people could tell something was wrong with me and it got to the time when I had to speak and they all put their arms around me and cuddled me and said they were there for me.

“That was a hard moment but it was also quite liberating because it’s off my chest now, the boys knew and they lifted me up, no one judged me.

“I can’t fault the boys, they were superb.”

Meanwhile Sophie recently broke her silence on rumours the couple are engaged.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: “I’m not engaged! I’ve said to Jordan specifically not to propose any time soon because Charlotte [Crosby] needs her engagement party.

“It’s all about Charlotte at the minute so let her have her time – and then I want it to be all about me. It would just be the worst timing to ever be proposed to right now.”

Sophie added: “Me and Jordan have only been together for just over a year – we’ve only just moved in together.”

Last series Jordan was reduced to tears as he opened up about the couple’s devastating baby news.

Jordan opened up to Towie’s co-star Elma Pazar and told her that they thought she was pregnant weeks before filming.

FERTILITY BATTLE

The pair have been very open with their struggles in the past.

Back in September last year, Jordan revealed that Sophie was undergoing fertility tests as they explored becoming parents.

They revealed their struggles a year after Sophie revealed she was going to have endometriosis surgery.

Sophie, who rose to fame on MTV‘s Geordie Shore, was diagnosed with the chronic condition in 2020.

Endometriosis is when when tissue which is similar to the lining of the womb is found outside of the womb, which can sometimes cause damage to the Fallopian tubes or ovaries, leading to fertility problems.

Jordan and Sophie first started dating in November 2022, but went public just before Christmas that year.

Sophie moved down south last year and they moved into their dream home in Essex.

6 Common Endometriosis Symptoms

Endometriosis is a long-term condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other places such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes.

Symptoms of endometriosis can vary, but the most common include painful or heavy periods, pain during and following sex, bleeding between periods, pain in the lower abdomen and difficulty conceiving.

Endometriosis can also cause sufferers to be constantly tired, and experience discomfort when using the toilet.

As outlined by Endometriosis UK, other key symptoms include bleeding from the bowel, pain while urinating as well as back and leg pain.

Endometriosis can occasionally be diagnosed with ultrasound scans – but keyhole surgery is the most common form of diagnosis.
