Chelsea Have Optimism Around Victor Osimhen Deal

Chelsea have growing optimism about beating Al-Ahli to the signature of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen but still no agreement on wages and transfer fee, according to the Guardian.

 

The Blues are looking to bring in a striker before the transfer window closes an hour before midnight tonight.

 

Osimhen has been a top target for Chelsea all summer and the club are hoping to pull off a deadline-day deal to sign him.

 

 

The Nigerian also has a massive offer on the table from Al-Ahli who are also working to sign Ivan Toney from Brentford.

 

However, there is now growing optimism at Chelsea that they will be able to secure a deal to sign Osimhen.

 

 

The Nigerian has not given a go-ahead to the move to Al-Ahli who have agreed a fee with Serie A giants Napoli.

 

Chelsea are now growing confident of convincing him to move to Stamford Bridge but an agreement is still not in place.

 

 

They are yet to settle on the proposed wages for Osimhen and Chelsea are yet to agree a fee with Napoli.
