“I said, ‘If Snoop [Dogg] can carry the torch in Paris — come on, man — Flav can carry that bad boy in L.A.,’ and Snoop did a fantastic job, man,” he added.

Flav went on to sing his praises for Snoop, 52, saying he “rocked” the role of torchbearer during the Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony.

“Snoop got a nice payday out there, besides the payday, he did a good job and I know that man had a lot of fun out there,” Flav said, adding, “Mad big ups to you, Snoop.”

Before the 2024 Paris Olympics officially began, Flav announced that he’s sponsored both the U.S. Women’s and Men’s water polo teams for the next five years and even organized some awesome gifts for the players!

During the Games, Flav was often seen in the stands cheering on the U.S. athletes.

Looking back, Flav described his time in Paris as “a dream come true,” admitting that attending the Olympics was “a little” more exciting than attending the Super Bowl.

“I ain’t going to lie, man, the Super Bowl…it’s exciting going to the Super Bowl, but this was a little bit more exciting,” Flav said. “It’s like, wow, I’m finally here, and I’m finally getting to really experience and see this in real life with my own eyes, and being in that moment.”
